Love/Loathe Experiment


What is the Love/Loathe experiment? 

For two weeks you will keep a record of what you LOVE and LOATHE about your current gig (based on Marcus Buckingham’s’ book Love and Work).

Once you sign up follow the instructions emailed to you, with reminders for two weeks.  One week will be a LOVE week and the other will be LOATHE week.  At the end of the week, you’ll record your insights and experiences in a short survey so we get the benefits of everyone’s thoughts. 

What is the experiment’s aim? 

Before I include these processes as part of the Design Your Life on Purpose Quest, I like to determine if they are helpful (I want like to see if my experiences mirror others).

My theory is that there can be many aspects of our life that we underappreciate and only when we record them can we notice a pattern. Then, using these observations you can craft a career in the direction of the things you love! 

It also helps knowing other people are doing the same process at the same time. You are not alone and communal activity helps process the insights you gain through the experiment.
